How long does cranberry salsa last in the fridge?

Fresh cranberry salsa can last up to 5 days in the fridge. Because of the added salt, the cranberries will release some of their water over time. If you like, you can drain off the access. I use the “cranberry water” to flavour drinks.

Can I use frozen cranberries for cranberry salsa?

You can use frozen cranberries for salsa, but the texture will not be the same as that made from fresh cranberries. Once frozen and thawed, the cranberries lose a lot of their liquid, so the salsa will be more liquid.

Should I thaw frozen cranberries before making cranberry salsa?

Yes, I would recommend that you defrost your berries before you make salsa. Once thawed, you can drain out the access liquid and then use the cranberries to make salsa.

Can cranberry salsa be frozen?

Yes, you can freeze cranberry salsa for up to 2 months. Make sure to defrost it completely before you enjoy it. Once defrosted, the cranberries will lose a lot of liquid, so be aware of that.
