Prepping the Ingredients
We need to get the ingredients ready before we can make the smoothie.
- Peel and roughly chop the mango.
- Chop the carrots into chunks.
- Chop the ginger and fresh turmeric – I don’t peel mine, but if you prefer to peel yours, you can use a spoon and gently scrape them to get rid of the very fine skin.
Making the Mango Carrot Smoothie
Time to get the ingredients blended so we can enjoy our delicious smoothie.
- Add the mango, carrots, ginger, turmeric, maple syrup, and milk of choice to the blender.
- I like to add protein powder to mine, but this is optional. If using, add the protein powder to the blender too.
- Blend it for a minute, open the blender, and add about 1/2 a cup of ice to the blender.
- Continue to blend until you have a smooth consistency.
- Enjoy cold.
Substitution Suggestions
This mango carrot smoothie is so delicious yet so versatile.

- Add 1/4 cup of nuts such as cashew nuts or blanched almonds to add protein.
- Add 3 tablespoons of rolled oats to give your smoothie more fiber.
- Want more greens? Add a handful of baby spinach to the blender and enjoy a greener smoothie.

Mango smoothies are so delicious. I love making lots of them during the summer since mangoes are plentiful. Add some coconut milk to make this smoothie richer and more delicious. Coconut milk gives it that perfect summer vibe.
Mangoes are rich, creamy, and sweet. So many fruits can be added to a smoothie with this fruit, such as bananas, kiwis, and berries. You can also add things like protein powder, oats, cashew nuts, and so much more.
Absolutely yes! Any Indian restaurant you go to generally serves mango lassi. This is a combination of mangoes, yogurt, and sweetener. Since mangoes are generally quite sweet on their own, adding yogurt makes the drink richer and smoother.
